A change needs a baseline
Save the neutral question, full answer and links before working, if such a check is available. Record the date and mode along with the specific gap: an inadequately described condition, an unclear example or missing useful instructions. If no baseline observation exists, say so. A reliable ‘we were absent before’ cannot be constructed merely because nobody saved the old answer. The first collected observation starts the history; it does not prove previous absence.
The change must have a verifiable address
Record which page and revision were updated, exactly what improved and which facts supported the change. A new article needs a live URL; a resolved technical error needs an actual check. In AURA, the action log and publication history help revisit the completed operation. Proposed text, an accepted URL submission and a published page have different statuses. Save them in order so intention, execution and search outcome are not confused later.
Repeat the same buyer question
The new query needs a comparable interface and mode, the same language and unchanged wording. Do not add a link to your new article only in the follow-up run: that changes conditions. If the first check was a general question and the second requested an analysis of your domain, the resulting link cannot count as evidence of independent discovery. Panel and condition differences must remain in the report even when they complicate an attractive improvement story.
What can be said about a new citation
An educational formulation: ‘After the instructions were updated, a link to them appeared in a comparable saved answer; we will monitor consistency.’ It describes known events without replacing them with a causal promise. Available sources, model behavior, the session or search context could have changed. A confident causal conclusion requires a separate research design and sufficient data; ordinary project history does not create these automatically. Likewise, a missing link in one subsequent answer does not erase the fact of the earlier citation.
Choosing the next piece of work
Read precisely what the AI used from the page and how it answers the buyer. If the material helps address the question, expand its verified examples and keep it current. If referrals appear, analyze the landing page and goals separately. AURA saves answers, sources, actions and events, so the next improvement can be justified with specific data. Do not demand immediate repeat citation after URL submission: a check should provide information rather than merely display the desired result more often.
Conditions and limitations
- Connection, a technical check and a saved report do not guarantee an AI recommendation or a customer outcome.
