How to set the region, audience and target AIs for a website check

Before checking, establish who the business sells to, in which language and which AIs the owner is interested in. These data are saved in the project. The country in a task indicates the requested market; the agent separately records the actual location and settings of the specific AI service insofar as they are available.

Start with the business's actual offering

A company name by itself is often ambiguous. Record the primary brand name, known spelling variants, product category and a clear description of whom you help and with which task. Add the service country and content language when they are genuinely known. For example, a studio may be based in Latvia but work with English-speaking SaaS businesses across Europe. The owner's location must not silently become the client's target market. Confirming the category is particularly important when the name resembles a term from another industry or is already used by other companies.

Choose a work direction rather than a result promise

The agent clarifies whether one AI, several or all supported directions are required. AURA saves the explicit selection so tasks and reports do not get mixed together. You can start with ChatGPT and one other accessible service, then expand. Choosing a platform sets the work's focus; it does not purchase a guaranteed recommendation within it. Gemini search, Gemini CLI execution and a normal model answer without web search are different collection methods. A saved observation must reflect the tool, model and mode actually used rather than merely a familiar logo.

Build questions from an actual buyer's perspective

Describing the audience makes useful queries easier to choose. For an analytics platform, these could concern comparing tools, choosing a solution for a small team and checking traffic sources. ‘Why is our brand the best?’ does not measure a customer's natural choice. The website FAQ can supply content topics but must not automatically replace a neutral monitoring list. Review questions before running them and confirm they concern your services. Preserve wording when comparing results over time: editing a question changes the experiment's conditions.

Record regional limitations in the report

A consumer web chat may offer neither country selection nor disclosure of its model version. Record that explicitly rather than declaring an answer Latvian search output based on project settings. State the requested market and available service context separately. In AURA, business information can be clarified directly in the checks panel or through an agent. Preparation produces an agreed context and question set. This supports discussion of specific observations without turning a limited answer sample into an estimate of an entire country's audience.

Conditions and limitations
  • Consumer-chat region may be unknown
  • Generated questions are not customer logs
  • Query volume inside AI is not measured
