How AURA checks published GEO pages

AURA checks page accessibility, HTML text, canonical settings, indexing restrictions and the sitemap. Check results and IndexNow notifications are saved separately: submitting an address alone does not confirm indexing or an AI recommendation.

Checking a page

After publication, the agent runs aura_verify_urls and receives a job number. AURA retrieves the page and saves actual HTTP checks, canonical, noindex, robots.txt, sitemap and JSON-LD. Responses to test requests using crawler User-Agent strings are not evidence of a genuine search bot visit.

What AURA shows

A published page, a submitted address, confirmed crawling, indexing, citation and referrals are separate stages. Each needs a source and time. Missing evidence remains unknown; user question volumes in ChatGPT or Gemini are not invented.

Who authorizes publication

The owner selects projects and agent permissions. Automatic publication is available only on a verified domain, with publish permission and owner-enabled auto-publication. Access can be changed or revoked in the AURA workspace.
